About the event
In the context of pursuing sustainable economic development, the role of youth emerges as a pivotal and active element in this process. Amidst the economic challenges sweeping the country, enhancing youth participation in the labor market and directing efforts towards developing their capabilities and opening new opportunities becomes crucial. In this context, Tevin organization conducted a study, which included individual and group meetings with a wide and diverse range of youth from Northeast Syria, to explore ways to integrate youth into the labor market.
Goals of the Seminar
This seminar, organized by Tevin, aims to discuss the preliminary results of the study before its publication, and to develop practical recommendations to enhance the role of youth in the labor market. The seminar will cover the following topics:
- The current economic landscape in Northeast Syria.
- The challenges facing the youth and their role in economic development.
- The role of local government (auto-administration)
- The contribution of local and international organizations.
- Enhancing youth participation in decision-making.
Main Speaker
- Renas Sino, the CEO of Tevin and the researcher of the study, will lead the seminar and share the results of the meetings and dialogues that were conducted.
Attendance and Registration Details: The seminar will be held online, providing an opportunity to discuss and highlight economic issues facing youth and to develop practical recommendations to enhance their role in the labor market.
